Chameleons
Story Synopsis:
Chameleons is a coming of age children’s book tale. Written by Marcelas Henderson, the story focuses on a 14 year old boy named Rudy who is starting his first year of high school. After receiving bad advice from his older brother KJ, Rudy desperately wants to be popular like his best friend Marlow for fear of becoming a nobody.
What better way than by buying the hottest new shoes on the block, “The K-Flems”. After an unfortunate turn of events with his younger sister Kaelyn, Rudy ultimately has to decide which is more important; accepting himself for who he naturally is or becoming popular only to blend into the background for the rest of his high school life.
Objective:
Because this book was a collaborative project, much of Isaiah’s role focused on the character illustrations and the character pre-production of the story. In addition to colors, He also assisted in the breakdowns for the environments as well which were finalized by Carington McKinney and Malik Williams.
